About Us

We Worship The Lord Jesus Christ

Here at Spirit And Life Word Ministries, we worship The Lord Jesus Christ as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We believe that Jesus took on human form and walked this earth doing signs, wonders and miracles, demonstrating the goodness and character of His Father. Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection redeemed fallen mankind from sin and provided the way to eternal life restoring our relationship with God.

The Power of the Bible

We actively pursue the presence and glory of God through a lifestyle of continuous communication with Him. We believe that The Bible is the uncompromised Word of God, and we study it, speak it and determine to live it since we know that those who do the Word of God are blessed. We aim to give The Holy Spirit complete control of each worship service as our goal is to create an atmosphere for Him to dwell among us, inhabiting our praises as we honor Him.

What We Believe

We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord of All. Jesus Christ is alive! He is the exact representation of God’s nature. He is both distinct from and equal to God the Father. Jesus is the radiance of God’s Glory. He upholds all things by the word of His power. He sacrificed himself to pay for our sins and rescue us from hell. Jesus is now sitting in heaven at the right hand of the Father. He prays for us continually. He will return soon to receive His bride – The Church.

We believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. He lived, died and was buried. He rose from the dead, and after three days he ascended to Heaven where He now sits at the right had of the Father.

We believe that the Bible is the God-inspired, inerrant Word of God. It is written for our learning that we would have hope. It is necessary to know the absolute truth and it provides essential direction for our lives.

The Trinity is the three-fold person of God expressed as The Father, The Son (Jesus), and The Holy Spirit.

When we ask Jesus Christ to be the Lord of our life and surrender to His will by allowing him to live in our heart, we receive eternal life. Salvation is a free gift offered to us that we receive by grace, through faith.

The baptism of The Holy Spirit is the gift of Power that God has provided for us to live victoriously in this life. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth. He reveals the will of the Father to us and gives us understanding of the scriptures. We can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit by asking God for it. We will know that we have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit when we begin to speak in other tongues. This is a heavenly language that God has given to us to pray His perfect will and strengthen ourselves spiritually.

We believe and practice two ordinances as directed by the scriptures: Water Baptism and Communion. Water Baptism is the public demonstration of faith in Jesus Christ. Holy Communion is the covenant meal of bread and wine (or grape juice), that we receive to remember the covenant God made with us that was validated though the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We believe in the eternal judgement of believers and non-believers, and the bodily return of Jesus Christ.
